PSAT Prep
Be Confident on Test Day
You need a strong PSAT score to compete for National Merit—and most high school students learn best in person.
Why Fairfax Collegiate?
The PSAT/NMSQT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Online-only prep can leave students watching a screen alone, with little accountability when a hard question appears. Fairfax Collegiate offers something better: live instructors, real classrooms, and the focus that comes from preparing with peers.
Fairfax Collegiate is Northern Virginia's largest provider of in-person PSAT courses, and we have been helping students for over thirty years. If you want an excellent local course from a trusted source—not another self-paced video program—this is the place to start.
Enroll in a school-year PSAT Prep course and build the foundation for a stronger SAT score later.

How Do We Help You?
During the school year, PSAT Prep meets in the evening at convenient Northern Virginia locations, including Compass School (Herndon) and Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (McLean). Open class sections for this course are listed below.
We help you identify specific review goals and design an individual study plan. That plan integrates live content review, interactive problem discussions, The Official SAT Study Guide, PSAT practice problems, PSAT practice tests, and key online resources.
As you follow the plan, your score improves—and you gain skills that carry forward to the SAT.
On test day, you will be ready for the PSAT—because you prepared in a classroom with an instructor who knows the exam, not just by watching a screen or teaching yourself from a book.
Find an in-person Fairfax Collegiate PSAT Prep section near you, and feel confident about the PSAT.

"English is not my favorite, but the way that my instructor taught it allowed me to understand how to solve new types of problems. And even though I love math, I was able to learn harder concepts that I had forgotten about, so it was a good refresher."
