- Reading: Identify central ideas and relationships, build vocabulary, find purpose, identify evidence, and connect ideas across passages
- Science: Interpret and model data and identify elements of the scientific method
- Writing: Write strong thesis statements, organize evidence-based essays, and use clear transitions and grammar
How Do We Help You?
During the school year, Complete ACT Prep meets in the evening at convenient Northern Virginia high schools:
Throughout the course, we help you identify specific review goals and design an individual study plan. That plan integrates live content review, interactive problem discussions, practice problems and tests, and key online resources. Course content covers all sections of the ACT, including the optional Science and Writing sections.
English, Reading, and Writing prep focus on grammar, style, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Math prep includes concepts from Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Science prep covers experimental design and interpreting—and making inferences from—experimental data.
As you follow the plan, your score improves.
On test day, you will be ready for the ACT—because you prepared in a classroom with an instructor who knows the exam, not just by watching a screen or teaching yourself from a book.
