Mobile Robotics

Assemble and program mobile robots.

Build EV3 robots that move—under operator control or autonomously—such as Taskbot, DragRacerBot, REMBot, and MazeBot.

Learn about robot design, torque, force, mechanical advantage, gear ratios, and EV3 programming.


Students get to build, experiment, and solve problems with their hands, while working in teams and exploring how machines move and respond to their environment. With friendly guidance and hands-on challenges, students build confidence as young builders.

Students design, build, and program LEGO EV3 robots while learning about gears, motors, sensors, and basic programming logic. They guide robots through mazes, program sensors to respond to obstacles, and test different designs to improve performance. Team challenges encourage creativity, collaboration, and persistence.

Students finish the course with stronger problem-solving skills and excitement about robotics, engineering, and programming.
